Team Mastery

Dates to be determined

(The program can also be offered for your group
in your organization)

We have taught this program for decades in corporate America, and now we are offering it to the public.  Here’s what one recent participant had to say:

This was my third course with Sandy Wilder. Sandy himself is an inspiring presence. His other name—Quiet Lightening—captures his essence rather succinctly: he illuminates subject matters such as Presence, Grace, and inter- and intra-personal dynamics with dazzling clarity; yet despite his vast knowledge, he teaches not with the thunderous urgency of an evangelist, but with the quiet tenderness of an oak tree. He simply holds the space and presents the tools and information for each class member’s self-discoveries.

His classes are well organized, his materials are well-chosen (he is impressively well-read on his subjects), and he takes just the right amount of time on each topic so that it can be properly assimilated. Striking in particular is how intimate and human the learning space is. It really breathes.

We sit in the round, and the class flows evenly between lecture, discussion, and exercises so that each person interacts thoroughly, on their own terms, with the material and has as much a voice as they are comfortable having.

As for the Team Mastery information, it is of the highest quality. Sandy shares great examples and stories from his 25 years as a leadership consultant to illustrate the concepts. Almost every hand-out and idea presented has a relevant, highly practical application.

It is a wonder that this information isn’t taught in schools. Three days after the course, I am 100% convinced that Sandy’s Team Mastery paradigm will be transformative not just for my work life, but for literally any time I interact with another human being.

Yes, it is that good.

We define a “team” as a functioning group of two or more people. Are you involved in any groups? If so, how effective are you as a leader or a contributing member? Do you think of your group as highly effective and well-oiled? A groups can be seen as a:

  • Committee
  • Project Team
  • Group of direct reports and their supervisor
  • Department
  • Organization
  • Class
  • Family
  • Squad, etc.

Most people are involved in many groups at any point in their lives. But, few have had any training in how to truly help the group soar in such a way that people feel like the group is highly productive, and really adding value to the lives of participants.

What is Team Mastery?

Team Mastery is the continuous process of seeing and interacting within a group in a way that produces synergy, releasing unlimited potential for good within the group, and all the group does.

Join us for this highly practical two-day program to learn how to make any group you are part of achieve its vision and release the greatness of its members!  We will explore vital areas like:

  • Developing a shared purpose and vision
  • Decision-making styles
  • Conflict resolution
  • Role of the team leader
  • Running meetings
  • Thinking of the group as a “living system” vs. a machine
  • Over-coming “Group Think” which can crush a groups morale and productivity
  • And so much more
