Participant Comment

Once our ego desires are worn away, then, and only then, can we be sure that the direction in which life is leading us are patterned directly by the Higher Guidance.
Michael Singer

For me, The Work is a valuable cut to the chase tool used to uncover stressful thoughts and thereby, wear away the ego. With each completed Worksheet, I uncover beliefs that block me from my True Essence.

Educare facilitators, Annie and Sandy, have a unique, practical way of presenting The Work in incremental stages, leaving participants grounded and able to apply this amazing tool. This class allows individuals to dig into their own beliefs while learning the method.

I found the whole experience extremely valuable as I learned the method and exposed some of my egoic beliefs! It left me wanting more; therefore, I have taken the opportunity to regularly do The Work with Annie. This practice has propelled me in this self-inquiry method. I highly recommend Grounding Yourself in The Work, if you want to know yourself and wear away the ego.

Introduction

There are three types of activities to be aware of:

  • Truth: One infinite Being in which there is no death. Oneness and wholeness characterize all life. Life is All. All is Love.
  • Human Facts: Whatever happens on the human stage. Everything comes and goes. Nothing is permanent.
  • Your Story: Whatever you believe about the facts while consciously or unconsciously ignoring Truth.

You will not be at peace as long as you believe that your story is more real than Truth. Judgment of people always links us to a story. You are not at peace because you are living in the story about someone and their actions.

Can you experience something or someone without creating a story about it or them?

Program Content

In this program we will explore a practical unlearning tool that helps us become aware of and release the stories we create. This self-inquiry tool is called The Work, and it was created by Byron Katie.

Participants will be introduced to the tool and be taught how to use it in their lives. They will learn to facilitate others in The Work, as well as be facilitated. We will have time for deep reflection, dialogue, and questions and answers, in our Circle of Trust.

In addition to the two-day program, the course includes a follow-up session to do The Work with one of the Facilitators.

Class times:

8:30–7:00 Saturday and Sunday

Facilitators

Sandy Wilder has been trained in the School for the Work and has been facilitating others and teaching The Work for over five years.

Annie Wilder will be his Assistant Coach. She has been trained in the School for The Work, in 2017 staffed The School for The Work, and is currently enrolled in The Institute for the Work, training to be a full time facilitator. She currently facilitates clients in The Work.
